~Grooming~

Lakeland Veterinary Hospital provides grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats. Our professional groomers have over 40 years of experience between them. Full and partial grooming, nail trims and baths are provided for any breed of dog or cat.

Grooming can have many additional health benefits to your pet besides the usual 'beauty parlor' look and smell! A matted pet can quickly become a target for flies in the summer months. Remember also, that an 'unkempt' looking animal may be a sign that the animal is not well and should be examined by one of our veterinarians.

Karen Schumann

Karen joined Lakeland Veterinary Hospital in 1988, after graduating from the St. Cloud School of Dog Grooming. Her pets include her new Belgian Tervuren puppy, Teddy and her 7-year-old Bay Quarter horse, Sky.

Karen loves to spend her free time outside, including riding her horse, going to horse shows, camping and boating.  Karen also loves to spend time with her new puppy and training him.

Karen's favorite breed is the Belgian Tervuren. She fell in love with their striking looks, with their black mask and black-tipped hair. She loves their sense of humor and how they can make her laugh. They are very quick to learn and very, very loyal.
