Laser therapy applied with the Companion therapy laser system provides a sterile, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment which is used to treat a variety of injuries, wounds, fractures, neurological conditions, numerous dermatological problems, and pain. Whether your pet is rehabilitating from trauma or injury, healing from wounds, or simply aging, your companion will benefit from this revolutionary new approach to Veterinary medicine.
Laser therapy is the only course of treatment that actually stimulates the body to heal from within. Non-thermal photons of light are administered to the body and absorbed by the injured cells. The cells are then stimulated and respond with a higher rate of metabolism. This results in increased circulation from the body, an anti-inflammatory reaction, relief from pain and an acceleration of the healing process.
Laser Therapy Applications Pain Management – Laser treatments reduce pain and stimulate cells to produce natural pain killers. This treatment can treat both sudden onset and chronic pain, without side effects.
Wound Healing – Laser therapy can significantly reduce healing time. Traumatic skin injuries and surgical incisions respond well to laser treatments.
Rehabilitation – Injuries and orthopedic surgeries require rehabilitation. Laser therapy provides non-invasive treatment for faster recovery such as pain relief, reduced swelling and an increase in range of motion.

Class IV Therapeutic Laser has many advantages to your pet including:
The Treatment Experience There is no sedation or restraint required--the experience is usually pleasant and comforting to them. Most pets do not need to have their hair clipped.
Although improvement is often seen after the first visit, most patients require several treatments [3 to 8] to see peak benefits. For most conditions, we recommend a multi-visit treatment plan. Treatments vary in length, but most sites require 2 to 8 minutes. A majority of patients exhibit greater comfort and mobility within 12 to 24 hours after a laser treatment.
Laser therapy treatments are cumulative in nature. The length and frequency of treatments varies, and your veterinarian will recommend a plan specific to your pet's condition.
