We are excited to introduce our most current tick and flea control recommendation for dogs.  The new product is PARASTAR PLUS (fipronil and cyphenothrin).  The deciding factors in making this recommendation are safety, efficacy, superior performance, and our feeling that this product represents the best medicine for our patients and clients.

PARASTAR PLUS is applied topically (dogs only) to the skin between the shoulder blades once a month, is waterproof and starts killing ticks in as little as one hour (compared to the 12-hour kill in Frontline Plus).  We believe the more rapid tick kill could aid in the prevention of tick transmitted diseases such as: Lyme, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia. We continue to monitor the changing market place in regards to flea/tick products and believe PARASTAR PLUS represents the best choice for you and your dog.  Our veterinarians and staff are excited to discuss the many advantages PARASTAR PLUS can offer!
