New Website Allows Pet Owners to Plan for Weather

 
The Weather Channel recently introduced a Pets Planner that allows pet owners to plan ahead when weather - such as severe thunderstorms - will affect their animals. Once an Internet user enters his/her zip code and a few details about a pet, the site generates a personalized calendar complete with warnings about behavior problems and other helpful hints. The site includes a park locator, pet care guides with articles provided by AAHA, a dog walking calculator that calculates calories burned during walking and other lifestyle tips.
